He makes me lie down in green pastures;
He leads me beside quiet waters….
Even though I walk through
the valley of the shadow of death,
I fear no evil, for You are with me;
Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.
– Psalm 23:2,4
We expect God will always lead us into outward blessings. However, He leads us into both green pastures and the valley of the shadow of death (Psa. 23:2, 4). No matter where He leads, His intent is that we would find Him, know Him, and experience Him.
