“…And the Lord God will give to him the throne of his father David, and he will reign over the house of Jacob forever, and of his kingdom there will be no end.”
– Luke 1:32b-33
David was the king, but David’s throne passed away. Jesus will have the real throne of David, a man who was after God’s desire. That very throne is a throne that matches everything God wanted. Eventually, it becomes the throne of God Himself.
